I have been looking for a sweetener for years that won''t pump my veins full of insulin and that has a subtle sweet flavor that won''t change my tea into soda pop. Tried them all - sucralose, saccharin, sugar, honey, aspartame, stevia and have pushed them all aside for xylitol which is the safest, best tasting and healthiest of the bunch. Yes, it is expensive, but worth the money if it won''t break your bank.
