Athletes experience low oxygen as the result of high intensity
exercies. Studies indicate oral consumption of ribose leads to
increased power productivity and improves the capacity of skeletal
muscles to quickly recover energy levels. Our ATP levels decrease
during exercise and normally do not recover. Even after days of
rest, research shows that without supplementation, skeletal muscle
has a limited ability to maintain peak performance during periods
of repetitive high intensity exercise.
