I have reached the age when most people have retired. Since I was a little kid I suffered from frequent and very painful mouth ulcers. Each one would drag on for a couple of weeks. No dentist I ever went to seemed to be able to help, except for Rx creams that helped just a little. So about 6 years ago I started researching on the web and found that SLS, an ingredient in nearly all toothpastes, might be a major cause. I switched to Squigle (no SLS) and the problem went away. I still get the occasional ulcer, but not many and when they come they go away in just a few days, without much discomfort. I have not used an Rx cream since then. I just wish I had known about SLS when I was a kid.
The sad thing is I gave a tube to my dentist for the next patient that had the problem, but he did not seem interested.

This is the best toothpaste I have tried so far (and I have tried A LOT) to help prevent canker sores. I used to get 1-2 per month, and now usually only get 1-2 every 6 months or so. Not too spicy on the mouth either. It is great!

I began using this toothpaste because I used to very often suffer from canker sores. Never understood why until I did some research online and discovered that they're usually caused by SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) which is found not only in most toothpaste but also in shampoos! Ever since I started using Squigle, I rarely get them. I love this toothpaste and recommend it for everyday use by everyone.

Before I found Squigle Toothpaste I was getting painful swelling and sores on my tongue at least once a month. I am very glad to say that I no longer have those outbreaks since using Squigle. I will never go back to normal toothpaste, and I tell everyone I meet with this kind of problem to try Squigle for themselves. I am eternally grateful to Squigle for rescuing me from a life of pain. It's dang near impossible to find any personal hygiene item that's free of SLS. This is one of them, yet it cleans teeth very well and I no longer need lip balm to treat or prevent dry, chapped lips.

We love this toothpaste! My dentist highly recommended it for my children who have had terrible cavities in the past. Well, we are 1 year and counting, and no cavities. The toothpaste seems to really help, and it is easy on the mouth,especially for those prone to cold sores.

Squigle is the best toothpaste. Tastes great and the xylitol binds gram positive cocci (leading cause of tooth decay as well as ear infections) without leading to resistance. Keep out of reach of your kids or they will try to eat the whole tube.

My wife used to regularly get mouth ulcers. First she would feel thin spots on her cheeks, then they'd become open sores, then get this white film before healing.
Once we changed to Squigle she was so much happier. She occasionally has thin spots but they don't hurt, and they never become open sores.

Excellent product. I developed severely chapped/burned lips and cold sores while using toothpaste with SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate). Using toothpaste with SLS the inside of my mouth and lips would burn/sting. After switching to Squigle Toothpaste I found immediate relief after the 1st use. Now after 2 weeks no chapped lips, cold sores or burning mouth. Homestead Market shipped the Squigle Toothpaste the same day I ordered and I received it 2 days later. As in the title, this is the only toothpaste I use. It tastes good, has no harsh ingredients like sodium lauryl sulfate, and best of all has a high content of Xylitol, which has a lot of health improving properties that you can read about in the product description as well as anywhere else on the web.

Canker sores are caused when the mucus membrane covering mouth tissue is compromised. SLS can damage the membrane and allow cankers to develop. Squiggle doesn't contain SLS, so it doesn't disturb the membrane. It really works!
