I have reached the age when most people have retired. Since I was a little kid I suffered from frequent and very painful mouth ulcers. Each one would drag on for a couple of weeks. No dentist I ever went to seemed to be able to help, except for Rx creams that helped just a little. So about 6 years ago I started researching on the web and found that SLS, an ingredient in nearly all toothpastes, might be a major cause. I switched to Squigle (no SLS) and the problem went away. I still get the occasional ulcer, but not many and when they come they go away in just a few days, without much discomfort. I have not used an Rx cream since then. I just wish I had known about SLS when I was a kid.
The sad thing is I gave a tube to my dentist for the next patient that had the problem, but he did not seem interested.

This is the best toothpaste I have tried so far (and I have tried A LOT) to help prevent canker sores. I used to get 1-2 per month, and now usually only get 1-2 every 6 months or so. Not too spicy on the mouth either. It is great!

I began using this toothpaste because I used to very often suffer from canker sores. Never understood why until I did some research online and discovered that they're usually caused by SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) which is found not only in most toothpaste but also in shampoos! Ever since I started using Squigle, I rarely get them. I love this toothpaste and recommend it for everyday use by everyone.

Before I found Squigle Toothpaste I was getting painful swelling and sores on my tongue at least once a month. I am very glad to say that I no longer have those outbreaks since using Squigle. I will never go back to normal toothpaste, and I tell everyone I meet with this kind of problem to try Squigle for themselves. I am eternally grateful to Squigle for rescuing me from a life of pain. I switched to Squigle toothpaste due to salycilate intolerance and mouth soreness from store bought pastes and I can use this product without any problems. It is soooo good that my 15-year-old daughter tried it, LOVES it, and switched to Squigle too.

It's dang near impossible to find any personal hygiene item that's free of SLS. This is one of them, yet it cleans teeth very well and I no longer need lip balm to treat or prevent dry, chapped lips.
