Q: I would like to use the charcoal powder orally in water. What is the suggested use? Thank you
Common usage is to take the charcoal about 2 hours away from meals and supplements. Mix a rounded 1/4 teaspoon (500 mg) with a glass of water. Increase daily intake of water while using charcoal as it can cause constipation and a darkening of the stools.
An internet search for "charcoal uses" or "charcoal dosing" should yield articles detailing more about activated charcoal.
Q: I used to buy only the 130 tablets of activated charcoal. You don't have that option anymore?

Suggested Use:
Externally: To make a poultice, mix 3 tablespoons of ground flax seeds or cornstarch with 3 tablespoons of activated charcoal powder in 3/4 cups of hot water. Stir until blended and cool to room temperature. Place mixture generously on a strip of gauze large enough to cover the area and tape the sides so that the mixture does not leak. Leave on 3-6 hours or overnight.

A must-have for every household
This is an essential item in my apothecary: we use it for any kind of food poisoning issue, accidental food allergy exposure, and other digestive discomforts. This is one of the best charcoal's on the market. I wouldn't have my home be without activated charcoal, and this product has no additives. Nice.

Only Buy This Kind
I've seen the gel capsules that contain loose charcoal powder inside, but I prefer these. These are compact charcoal tablets. I take one or two after a risky meal, and I always take two before a quiet event or a date. They pretty much guarantee my stomach won't be noisy or gassy, but even when I do fart, it somehow feels "healthier." Great product, and I only buy it from this site.

A relative suggested using this to help in digestion. It doesn't give direction on how to use it. So I tried a level teaspoon in 8oz of water. That was too strong so I used half a teaspoon. Sure coats digestive linings. Stools stays grey for a day during use. The size I got will probably last 5 years. Watch out to avoid contact with surfaces, although it washes out it can be messy. It would be better to have had some instructions.

For the price that it sells for its pretty good. Ive never used any other charcoal products before because this is the one my friend recommended to me but it works very well.

live without this
This product was shipped fast and as described. We couldn't live without this product. We start to feel sick we use this for a couple of days and it never becomes a full blown cold. Works great with coughs even. My dog even uses it when she seems to be down and shes back to running around.
